The certificate was awarded for his valuable contribution as co-author of the research paper titled “Machine Learning Ensemble Approaches for Blood-Brain Barrier Penetration Prediction for Drug Discovery”, co-authored with Amit Kumar Bhore and Dr. Najma Naskar. The work explores advanced ensemble machine-learning techniques to accurately predict whether drug molecules’ ability to cross the blood-brain barrier — a critical challenge in central nervous system (CNS) drug development. Accurate BBB penetration prediction can substantially reduce late-stage failures, accelerate drug discovery timelines, and lower development costs for neurological disorders such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, and brain tumors.
